Let me out. It’s fucking dark in here. – the late Shay Bradley
There just aren’t many good Halloween videos any more, so I’m always happy when someone (in this case Kate D’Adamo) provides one. The links above it were contributed by Franklin Harris, Grace, Tushy Galore, Mike Siegel, Tim Cushing, and Jesse Walker, in that order.

If the story about the British family is true, it is outrageous. If.
Since 2016 we have been treated to a stream of stories about horrible border patrol behavior…and a significant proportion of them turned out to be bullsh*t.
Children in cages! Happened under Obama.
AOC stares sadly through a chain link fence….around a parking lot.
Those are just two off the top of my head.
The anti-Trump partisans in the media have poisoned the well. I simply, reflexively disbelieve their drivel now. Which is too bad, because it means that if they ever DO catch Trump doing something awful (no doubt in my mind there’s something to catch, I just doubt the stooges in the media can catch it) a lot of people will dismiss it.
Even so, I still don’t consider Border Patrol, ICE, etc. trustworthy. It’s only a matter of time before supporters fall victim to the very scum that they blindly and uncritically defend.
I am curious about where “in the Vancouver area” it’s possible to drive across the border accidentally. Along much of it there is a ditch.
CBP claims they “slowly and deliberately [drove] through a ditch” between Avenue 0 (BC) and Boundary Road (Wash). I wouldn’t want to try it without an urgent reason, but it’s more plausible than “they veered onto an unmarked road to avoid an animal on the road and accidentally crossed the border.” I used Satellite View to follow the border from Point Roberts to the mountains and found no place where that could happen.
What I want to know is why you care enough to waste so much time? I don’t care if they’re lying through their teeth about how it happened; borders are an authoritarian construct which nobody patrolled outside of wartime until the late 19th century. And I’m on their side against anything claimed by government thugs who keep nonviolent people locked in cages, even if the government has video of them “breaking the law”.
My curiosity extends to many silly things, and was piqued in this case because I happen to be nearby.
It wasn’t a great deal of time; the relevant span is about thirty miles.
