I’d like to thank Dr. Brooke Magnanti for supplying the art for this sabbat. If you’d like to provide one for the vernal equinox, Beltane or the summer solstice, please let me know!

St Bridget’s Day is conventionally 1 February, but as the Celtic day began at sunset, it can also run into 2 February. In Ireland, 2 February was also called ‘lambing day’, and is therefore associated with her.
James Joyce was very proud that he was born on 2 February 1882, and he insisted that Ulysses was published on the same day in 1922. Joyce thought of Bridget as his muse.
Dr. Magnanti did an excellent job on that painting. Speaking of painting, it has been years since I last painted…*Sulks*
