[Sex workers] can’t be slandered, apparently, because our status is THAT low. – Mistress Matisse
Priests’ vows of celibacy may have led to paedophilia, the Roman Catholic Church in Australia has said…A group advising the…Church on how to deal with thousands of cases of child sex abuse said celibacy may be psychologically damaging for some priests…The…conclusions were quickly dismissed by the Vatican…
The statute under which these people were arrested defines “near” as 100 feet: “Eleven people…were arrested and charged with prostitution near a school…[in] Memphis…the…arrests were all within a mile and a half from [any of several schools]…“
On December 16th…Thierry Schaffauser, founding member of STRASS, was distributing leaflets and condoms when he was arrested [in]…Paris…He was accused of having spoken to a sex worker. Two plainclothes police officers then committed acts of violence against him including strangulation…He was handcuffed …and taken to the police station…without being able to request…a lawyer. The sex worker he was talking to…was also arrested…Homophobic and racist remarks were made during the arrest, incl. “it is because of people like you that mamas bring in African women for prostitution in France”…
Not the late actor, but rather the president of a fundamentalist Christian group:
…Tony Perkins [claims]…his fight against gay rights is necessary to prevent an economic crash and [is] no different than saving someone from a burning building…the Family Research Council president…told [the Faith & Liberty podcast]…that gay rights present such a grave “threat to religious liberty” that the movement for LGBT equality will inevitably lead to “a rapid downward spiral of our nation, including our economy”…Perkins insisted that his anti-gay activism is motivated by love for the gay community. Just as an onlooker would try to wake up a person sleeping inside of a burning building, Perkins explained, he is simply trying to tell gay people about homosexuality’s destructive nature…
Whores know all about people who “love” us and want to “help” us by denying our basic human rights, criminalizing our lives and locking us up in state brainwashing centers.
In which David Horsey un-ironically uses the phrase “women performing like whores” in a fact-free anti-porn rant:
…Thanks to the Internet, Americans have been pushed, unwittingly, into a vast social experiment testing whether unfettered access to the most freakish and foul pornography will warp sexual relations for generations to come…Raunchy actually does not begin to describe the things that any kid can find with a few search words and a couple of clicks…It’s a quick descent into an endless display of photographs and videos…dominated by perverse male fantasies of women performing like whores for men whose sexual techniques appear to have been learned in a prison cell…This is soul-disturbing stuff most human beings have never seen or experienced before…
Because obviously whores aren’t women. Would-be censors are fond of claiming that online porn is “dominated” by extreme stuff, and that it’s easy to find, but try it yourself sometime.
Women who tell outlandish rape tales undermine the credibility of all women:
In a now-infamous…story in Rolling Stone, disgraced journalist Sabrina Rubin Erdely asserted that at least five members of the Phi Kappa Psi fraternity gang-raped a freshman named Jackie at a frat house party…The Washington Post’s reporting now suggests that Jackie fabricated huge swathes of her gory rape tale, and that Erdely abrogated her duty to properly investigate it…the number of completely fraudulent rape allegations made by women on American college campuses is far from trivial. With very little effort at all, The Daily Caller has found eight twisted, totally false and especially astonishing rape hoaxes proffered over the years by female college students. In each case, the cruel hoaxes were initially accepted as true. In some cases, real lives were ruined…
A man obsessed with the Yorkshire Ripper brutally attacked a prostitute and planned to carry out more murders than his idol…David Parsons, 21, bought a claw hammer because it was Peter Sutcliffe’s weapon of choice and used it to repeatedly bludgeon a…call girl he lured to his flat…he was spooked by her screams and fled…[then] told police: “I have just tried to kill someone”…The victim…suffered head injuries and…psychological damage…Parsons pleaded guilty to attempted murder…[but] showed no empathy or remorse…[saying] “She is a prostitute, I am not even bothered”…
The Global Alliance Against Trafficking in Women (GAATW) recently released its annual peer reviewed publication, the Anti-Trafficking Review…[this year’s] theme…is “Following the Money: Spending on Anti-Trafficking“…The majority of funding dedicated to anti-trafficking initiatives is spent in either prevention or prosecution…there has been little research undertaken into the…effectiveness of funded anti-trafficking initiatives…whether a person is recognised as a “victim” or “migrant” is defined by the media, who are influenced by…political expediency…
A Louisiana [cop]…has been arrested…[for groping] a woman during a traffic stop…Michael Dayne Selders…touched her breasts…and private areas and tried to kiss her lips…Selders let her leave, saying “don’t tell anyone about this”…Selders [pretended that]…the woman initiated a hug, but denied wrongdoing…he’s [been rewarded with] paid [vacation]…
…Nashville [cop Jonathan Mays] was arrested…for raping a prostitute…The victim had gone to police in June…[and they]…constructed a [sting] to catch Mays in the act…Once confronted, Mays tried to deny having any previous involvement with the woman, but later confessed to the [previous] incident…
Chase Madar’s article about the horrific consequences of the US obsession with policing sex is quite good on issues like “sex offender” registration and the War on Whores…yet breathes not one word about “sex trafficking” hysteria, despite its condemnation of the Satanic panic.
A TED talk about sex worker rights is definitely a step forward:
Changing the narrative about sex work and battling the stigma associated with the adult industry are among the primary goals behind a series of events [last weekend]…the Seattle chapter of the Sex Worker Outreach Project…[held] a three-day sex-work symposium to educate the public about consensual sex work, advocate for sex-worker rights and build community among a diverse group of practitioners. “I hope people who have heard that all sex workers are victims and all sex work is exploitative will see…the adult industry is vast, complex, diverse and not inherently exploitative,” said Savannah Sly…
…a…Wisconsin…woman [was] arrested for drug use…brought to court and twice refused lawyers (even though her fetus was given one), and then sent to jail for 17 days, where she was placed in solitary confinement, denied prenatal care even as she began cramping, and not given her thyroid medication for two days…Tamara Loertscher…refused to submit to in-patient treatment because…she…had stopped using drugs. She was then jailed for contempt of court…the state of Wisconsin then informed her that it considered her a child abuser, which will prevent Loertscher from ever working again in her profession, as a certified nurse’s aide…
They must have threatened him with decades in prison to secure this deal:
[Eric “Red” Omuro]…pleaded guilty…to facilitating prostitution by running a website that allowed sex workers to advertise services…it was the first federal conviction of a website operator for facilitation of prostitution…MyRedbook…allowed users to post and respond to ads offering services including massage, stripping, domination and sex in San Francisco and throughout the West Coast…the website generated more than $5.4 million in revenue…Omuro…agreed to forfeit $1.28 million in cash and property and the domain names…
At long last, Seattle’s The Stranger owns up to its part in promoting Chong Kim’s lies and the movie based on them:
…Mistress Matisse, a professional dominatrix and longtime Stranger contributor…sent an e-mail to her editors here in late June referring to a potential lawsuit. “You’re getting this e-mail from me because I want some answers,” Matisse began. “I believe that…filmmakers Colin Plank and Megan Griffiths”—the producer and the director—”have perpetrated a fraud in their movie called Eden. Allegations have been made, and it’s time for them to either double down—or fess up. And as The Stranger played a role in promoting the film, it’s appropriate that The Stranger play a part [in] the truth being told about it”…She [discussed] with a lawyer “the possibility of a class-action lawsuit against the makers of Eden“…[but his] opinion was that “it would be difficult to prove damages, because the prevailing sentiment of the legal system more or less goes along with us being either helpless victims, as in the movie, or just plain criminals”…
The article debunks Kim’s tragedy porn in great detail, but that wasn’t actually very hard because her own published narratives of her supposed “exploitation” in sex work have grown dramatically in the past decade; had the filmmakers bothered to do even the slightest bit of research they would’ve known she was lying from square one. But hey, the lies are only about whores and our clients, so it’s all good.
Hong Kong was shocked by another brutal murder [of a sex worker]…as the half-naked body of a 15-year-old girl was discovered bound and gagged at a local dump – just weeks after a British banker was charged with the killing of two escorts…Kwok Wai-ming…had hands and legs bound together with plastic strips and adhesive tape and might have died during a sex game…the girl was involved in compensated dating…and also posed for nude pictures for money…Police have arrested a 34-year-old former clerical worker after analysing security camera footage from buildings in the area…
Nick Clegg today backed Liberal Democrat MPs who are opposing a ban on a list of erotic acts being shown in porn because they have been judged “harmful”. Three days after a face-sitting protest outside Parliament against new curbs on what can be shown in internet video porn, the Deputy Prime Minister said…the state should not invade the privacy of people’s bedrooms…
The Canadian Public Health Association is calling on the government to regulate the sex industry…under existing occupational health and safety regulations…The testimony [leading up to the new law] laid bare a bitter divide…over whether prostitutes are victims or whether they are making a free and valid career choice. The government considers prostitution a crime against women, and [pretends it can be] stamped out entirely…
That bit about a “bitter divide” is more prohibitionist nonsense; virtually no actual sex workers support client criminalization, and the ones who claim to are a tiny minority of ex-whores paid by prohibitionists to be human sock puppets.
Inherent in all acts of violence, is a false claim of superiority. Want to correct that? Put this motherfucker to DEATH.
Re: The Rolling Stone gang-rape story. Classic as old as humanity. Ishtar and Gilgamesh. Jilted woman unleashes the power of holy hell on humanity. This girl “Jackie” used a nuclear-powered flamethrower of lies and didn’t give a shit who it incinerated. It’s time to “out” this bitch with her real name.
Re: Tamara Loertscher. Well, without getting into the legalities of pregnant women and drugs and alcohol – I’d say an ADMITTED use of crystal meth to the tune of two to three times a week is enough for any (pregnant or non-pregnant) nurse to lose her/his license. I’ve seen many lose it to a lot less. Though – in this case, she’s losing it to a charge of “child abuse”. Well, that is just the offspring of a society that refuses to sit down and COMPROMISE on the point of when human life begins. It may not philosophically be at the moment of conception – but it’s damn sure not the moment the child exits the birth canal. Our laws are all screwed. We like to give women “choice” … but then when a pregnant woman is killed the perpetrator is often charged with “double homicide”. It appears to me, that we’ve decided that life begins when that particular mother believes it does. We refer to WANTED pregnancies as “babies” and UNWANTED ones as “fetuses”. This language, of course, somehow excuses us of terminating the latter and justifies our elevation of the former.
LOL – no – it doesn’t work that way.
Re: Mistress Matisse. You should have posted a pic of this beautiful girl with your story on her I have a HUGE crush on her. I dream about her sometimes. Could she ever be happy with a guy who DEMANDS he dominate her? Call me, Matisse … you know it would be beautiful! 😀

I’m not gonna die till I have her!
GOD-DAAAAAMN
Sorry, I didn’t know that pic was gonna post – only wanted to link it.
We are not offended.
Ooh, YES!!
There’s one thing we can agree about krulac.
But I don’t get the ‘Mullet’ reference. Is there some kind of popular piscean perversion I don’t know about?
They referring to the hairstyle from the 80’s….a regrettable style now infamous in it’s cheesiness.
But how is a mullet hairstyle “business in the front, party in the back”? (BTW, the mullet was more 70s than 80s here, but you still see them occasionally).
Because it’s short (conforming to current male social expectations) in the front, but “let it all hang out” in the back.
Nice one krulac. A point that proves itself.
You’ve got a great sense of irony.
I’m all for the victim claiming “superiority” here through vengeance.
I didn’t hear the victim calling for capital punishment. She’s from a civilised country that doesn’t impose it.
What I heard was the same as usual. Someone from the peanut gallery with no knowledge of either the background and circumstances of the offence or the desire of the victim imposing his own vengeance fantasies upon someone else’s tragedy. Imagining himself to be a high and mighty judge with the right to decide life or death over a complete stranger. Sounds a lot like a false claim of superiority used to justify a call to violence.
Okay – I want to kill the bastard. And eventually guys like me exact our own justice if the beta males won’t let the government do it for us.
What are you gonna do .. Kill us? LOL
And we’re a lot nastier when we have to do it. 😎
Nah.
It’s guys like you who are programmed by the government to endorse mindless violence in the face of their own ignorance that give the state the power to exact ‘justice’ against unarmed and innocent people (among others).
You know pretty much the same about this guy as you know about Muslims.
Nothing.
You just swallow what the media says the police and prosecutor said he told a shrink.
Notice a few weak credibility links there?
And because they got him to plead out and sentenced him under the Mental Health Act there’s no need to provide evidence.
You don’t know if he said what they claim he did about sex workers and Peter Sutcliffe or if he did, what the context was. You don’t even know he bashed anyone and if he did he might simply have been making a pragmatic point about how crime is investigated. If you want to roll up a big score as a serial killer it’s nothing but the truth that targeting those of low social status like sex workers and the homeless will give you more breathing space to do so.
The UK cops took a lot of flak for their failures in investigating the Yorkshire Ripper, giving Sutcliffe the opportunity to kill and kill again. They arrest some crazy guy for allegedly assaulting a sex worker and see the chance to pretend they’ve learned their lesson and are now on the ball while simultaneously convicting their suspect in the court of public opinion. So they make him out to be another Sutcliffe, regardless of the actual circumstances. They know they can count on guys like you – especially ex-military who’ve been trained to suck up whatever authorities say and call for vengeance on cue – to create a big ‘morally superior’ fuss that will keep attention on the officially designated scapegoat. Like the apocryphal ‘Colonel (retired)’ from Tunbridge Wells who will always write to the newspapers calling for reintroduction of the death penalty whenever some kid is accused of vandalism.
And if you really do get so caught up in your own gullibility and moralising that you exact lynch mob justice of your own, you become the next scapegoat used to justify unaccountable state violence.
If it wasn’t for vengeance seeking ‘alpha males’ like Osama bin Laden, Tim McVeigh and the KKK the state would have to invent them.
In fact it does.
And you want to hear the best part about Matisse, guys? Her pictures don’t actually do her justice. Yes, she’s a good friend and so I’m prejudiced; however, the word “breathtaking” applies here. And now I’m going to make you both very envious: I’ve seen her naked. Sitting right next to me (also naked) on a couch. And the other two beauties present were mostly naked, too.
I was just heading for bed.
Hopefully you’ve primed a nice dream for me Maggie.
Oh, I do hope so. 🙂
She is so goddamned hot – it might be worth it for me to chuck my male ego … drive up to Seattle and let her KICK MY ASS for a few hours – just so I could look at her. It might be worth that, if that’s the ONLY way!!! I don’t think I would feel the pain – just sit there staring with my mouth open drooling. 😀
Why the fuck is she a dominatrix?!!
Life is soooo unfair!!
I think I may have to challenge her husband to a duel!! LOL
Remember that line from “The Man With Two Brains”? When Kathleen Turner says … “He’s paying me ten thousand dollars just to TOUCH my behind!”
Yeah … it’s that BAD with me!!!
Let’s change the order:
Followed by:
I think you just answered your own question.
That was a joke – no way she’s tying me up. In that respect, I’m like a US Marine. I saw them in dive school once and they tied their arms and legs and threw them in a pool.
These were Marine Recon – the baddest motherfuckers in the Marine Corps.
You should have seen the fear in their eyes and the way they struggled with the ropes binding them (in vain)! LOL
You need to talk her into doing GFE on the side. The whole “domination” thing is pointless to me – I want to POSSESS her! LOL
You’re still my first love though, Maggie!! 🙂
{fans self}
Don’t worry about making me jealous, sweetie; I’m polyamorous. 😉
“And now I’m going to make you both very envious”
Not just that pair 😉
A few years back Gail Dines came out here for the Sydney Writers’ Festival and repeatedly made the precise and easy to check claim that if you google “pornography” the first sixteen pages will all be ‘extreme’ porn in which women are abused.
All of the media outlets repeated the claim as authoritative and it wasn’t until she shared a forum with academic Catharine Lumby that she met someone who had checked and refuted her. Apparently not a single journo who interviewed or reported on her bothered to verify the allegation that was a central plank of her entire argument.
There can be problems with Google search. The results are (apparently) organised with (some) reference to what you have previously searched for; the search isn’t unbiased, neutral or disinterested. If two people, using two different computers, do a specific search, the results are likely to be different each user.
So, you could imagine that if Gail Dines had previously searched for “extreme porn”, then her next searches for “pornography” would lead her to “extreme porn”.
When it comes to extreme sex stuff, let’s talk about what comes out of Japan. They got stuff that would scare Larry Flynt. Or make him regret not thinking of it first- not sure which. Anyways, what’s fun is, even with all the extreme sex and violent images, Japan’s crime rate is decidedly lower than America’s. If the prohibitionists and feminists are to be believed, wouldn’t Japan be overrun with criminals, psychos, and horror stories of abuse? Somehow, I think we’re seeing why they never speak of Japan in any of their examples.
“Priests’ vows of celibacy may have led to paedophilia,”
Well, no. Father Andrew Greeley made the claim that a abuse was no more common among celibate Priests than it is among the non-celibate clergy of other Christian sects, and I was so gobsmacked that I looked it up. I don’t have the studies under my hand right now, but it appeared that he was close enough to right for a pass.
Now, clergy were slightly more likely to abuse children than the general population. So were teachers. Draw what conclusions you will about the kind of people who look for work with that kind of petty authority.
The Catholic Priest Abuse Scandal is based on several things;
1) The present Establishment loathes the Catholic Church because it promulgates some kind of real standards of behavior. I happen to think that many of those standards are swill, but the Church has an absolute right to say “This is how you behave if you want to be a good Catholic”.
2) The Catholic Church spent a lot of time stonewalling, because it has an institutional reaction based on dealing with societies full of peasants, where that is the right social strategy. They have never really (at least according to Father Greeley, who writes about it) adapted to the idea that U.S. Citizens are not sheep to be pushed around “for there own good”. (another reason that the Liberal Establishment hates them; they are competition).
3) Nobody, but NOBODY in the Establishment media is interested in looking at most of the other very likely sources of non-familial child abuse, SUCH AS THE PUBLIC SCHOOL SYSTEM.
I have my problems with Catholicism. It is authoritarian, condescending, and infested in some segments with Revolutionary Theology twaddle. But celibacy does not appear to have a great deal to do with the child abuse scandal, although lots of people want it to.
I agree with this. I agree with the RCC on basically nothing and the Pope pisses me off on a daily basis. He is a weak foolish pussy. Especially when he sat silent while ISIS killed thousands of Muslims – and then got all upset when they trained their blades on Iraqi Christians. Then suddenly – he’s writing letters to the UN saying “stop them” … “Oh but I’m not necessarily talking about killing them – just STOP THEM!”
He knew good and goddamn well that “Stop Them” means “KILL THEM” because that’s the only way you stop those motherfuckers.
Anyway – yes, I agree. I don’t think it’s celibacy per se that was at the root of the Priest child abuse scandal. I don’t buy Greley’s explanation for the cover up though. The coverup had less to do with “third world” than it did with the hierarchy being IDIOTS who were too stupid to know how to deal with the issue and HOPED it would just “go away”.
But Greeley’s explanations has nothing to do with the Third World; it stems from how the Church (and, frankly, the Political class) view the common folk in Europe. And not just Eastern Europe. There is a real, bottom line difference between the U.S. and most of the rest of the “First World”. Here, at least for a while, the assumption was that the common people could manage for themselves and the government was a hire service to deliver the mail and build roads. We’ve lost some of that, true, but the rest of the world NEVER HAD IT.
One of Greeley’s themes as a writer (and he was a good storyteller; I recommend him even though I disagree with him on a lot) is the Old School Church running into Americans who expect to be consulted about how their parish is run, seeing that it’s their money funding it all. And the Church Just. Doesn’t. Get. That.
I’m sorry, but the answer is “yes.” I don’t think that most priests are necessarily pedophiles (please excuse my American spelling), but celibacy is contributing factor to the sex abuse cases and it’s also linked to the decline in ordinations. Even conservative devout male Catholics who toe the Vatican line want to get married and raise a family. Also, gay Catholics who in the past might have become priests to avoid questions on why they haven’t gotten married are instead leaving both the church and the closet.
If this hasn’t been much of a problem in the past, I suspect it is for two reasons. First, the Church was in a better position to cover up scandals, but more importantly, the Church had a more realistic view of male sexuality, and unofficially turned a blind eye to priests having affairs or going to sex workers to satisfy their sexual needs. Now that the Church honestly believes there is no such thing as sexual needs and that it is perfectly fine to expect priests to never have sexual relations or masturbate, they’ve got a big problem on their hands.
For all of these reasons, I’m not applauding any of the liberal moves Pope Francis has made unless he is willing to do the one thing that addresses this crisis and helps restore faith in the Church, and every sign shows he is unwilling to do this. Some atheists have argued that not only is Christianity wrong, but that Jesus of Nazareth never existed. I would not go that far, because I’m pretty sure there was a historical Jesus who lived in 1st century Galilee. But did this historical Jesus never have sex, never masturbate, and never was sexually aroused by either women or men? THAT person never existed, and it’s time people (including both the Church and government) expect that that fictional person should be emulated in that respect.
In 2011 a local board in Michigan known as AESOURCE was shut down by the FBI. The escorts would advertise for free on threads and clients could post reviews.
The board provided a great way for escorts and clients to verify references. Clients with a reputation of shortchanging escorts were banned from the board as were escorts who ripped off clients.
It was a great system to keep the workers and clients safe from stings and other dangers.
Ever since it was shutdown I have not booked with anyone via e-mail.
I reckon that claim about celibacy promoting pedophilia was a deliberate red herring anyway.
We’re currently in the midst of a high profile inquiry into institutional child abuse here and the main issue for the Catholic Church isn’t it’s prevalence but the long standing cover-ups that facilitated it. The guaranteed headline grabber about celibacy was a way of focusing attention back on individual offending clergy rather than on the multiple levels of church bureaucracy – up to and including Cardinal Pell – who kept it hushed up for decades while continuing to allow pedophile priests access to children.
