By the way if anyone feels they can’t breathe or their lives matter I’ll be at the movies tonight, off duty, carrying my gun. – Phillip White
It was a pretty sad (read: virtually nonexistent) crop of Christmas links this year; I mean, here we are hours away from the solstice and…nothin’ (imagine Yukon Cornelius voice). So please enjoy the one single solitary holiday feature this week, a video of porn actresses reading How the Grinch Stole Christmas from Michael Whiteacre. The first video was provided by Radley Balko (as were the links above it), and the links between the videos were contributed by Popehat (“do” and “megalomania”), Dave Krueger (“doughnuts”), Walter Olson (“brilliant”), Nun Ya (“threefold”), Tushy Galore (“speech”), Cop Block (“waiting”), and Elizabeth N. Brown (“dragged”).
- Never call the cops for any reason whatsoever.
- Cop tases old man for having a job.
- Universal criminality in action.
- Do as we say, not as we do.
- It’s the loitering and doughnuts.
- So brilliant, only a cop could think of it.
- The word you’re looking for is “megalomania”.
- Sometimes it comes back more than threefold.
- That whole freedom of speech thing was nice while it lasted.
- Cop beats disabled man for waiting in a hospital waiting room.
- Crime: parking ticket. Penalty: literally dragged out of her home.

Kudos to the San Francisco District Attorney’s office for actually bringing charges against that subhuman thug. Hope his Union doesn’t manage to get the charges quashed. For that matter, hope his Union goes broke TRYING AND FAILING to get the charges quashed.
I know. Dream on.
Vigilante justice is looking better by the month. At least when a Vigilante runs berserk there’s decent chance of getting him imprisoned.
“Vigilante justice is looking better by the month. At least when a Vigilante runs berserk there’s decent chance of getting him imprisoned.”
By who against who? To that point, what was your reaction to what just took place in NYC?
For me — at this point, it doesn’t look like “what just took place in NYC” was a genuine example of “vigilante justice.” I mean, if he had shot family members just before that … it may have been more about “the crazy” in him (if there was some) than about “murderous cops.”
It seems to me that fatal attacks by black men on cops who are just going about their business are more likely to heighten the cops’ already-heightened sense of “in fear for my life” when they encounter a random black man “while going about their business.” In other words … counter-productive.
IMHO, YMMV, and the rest of the usual Internet disclaimers, of course.
After all the years, I think I’m still word perfect with Green Eggs and Ham.
