Guinea Pigs (#1012) 

To flush civil rights, just apply a label like “prostitute” or “gang member”:

Police gang databases are…secret registries [that] allow state and local cops to feed [people’s] personal information into massive, [un]regulated lists based on speculative criteria — like their personal contacts, clothing, and tattoos — even if they haven’t committed a crime.  The databases aren’t subject to judicial review, and they don’t require police to notify the people they [libel] as gang members.  They’re an ideal tool for [cops and their ilk] seeking to imply criminality without due process.  And…at least eight states and large municipalities funnel their gang database entries to ICE — which can then use the information to target people for arrest, deportation, or rendition to so-called “third countries”…The…Trump [regime]…has cited common tattoos and other spurious evidence to create its own lists of supposed gang members…

The Cop Myth (#1555)

Why are people shocked when men paid and encouraged to behave violently, behave violently?

A [typical and representative Utah cop named]…Scott Elliott Russell…[has been] charged…with…[multiple] felon[ies and other crimes after he refused a traffic stop, triggering a whole herd of pigs to chase him.  After one of the pigs rammed him at highway speed, causing him to spin out]…Russell…exited his vehicle wielding an ax…Russell then got back into his vehicle and led police on another chase, during which his vehicle’s tires were spiked, but he drove another 6 miles…[because they knew he was a fellow pig, cops treated him with kid gloves when they would’ve murdered anyone else].  In 2020, he was arrested for kidnapping his uncle on Thanksgiving Day…[but] all charges were dismissed in October 2022 when Russell graduated from mental health court…

You Were Warned (#1556)

Oh look, sensible people were correct as usual:

Sleeping with cops isn’t safe for men, either:

A [Texas cop named Ashley Nicole Transmeier murdered her]…ex-[boy]friend…Albert “Bert” Florencio Howie…[when she caught him sleeping with her] mother…Transmeier…fled the [scene of the crime and tried to commit suicide with]…pills while [sitting in her car, but cops took her]…to a local hospital, [had her stomach pumped] and [then caged her]…

As usual when a cop murders somebody off the clock, their cophood is buried far down in the story.  And the passive voice usage in this one is off the charts.

I Spy (#1543)

Wave bye-bye to the last remaining shreds of your privacy:

The Trump [regime] has, [in violation of the Privacy Act of 1974], built a searchable national citizenship data system.  The tool, which is being rolled out in phases, [was justified by the claim it is] designed to be used by state and local election officials to…ensure only citizens are voting.  But it was developed rapidly without a public process, and s[ensible people] are already worrying about what else it could be used for…[especially since it was developed by] DHS…[and the so-called “]DOGE[“.  The system pushes]…the U.S. closer to having a…centralized national database of Americans’ personal information [spooks can use any way they want]…

Mad Libs (#1550)

So far, the thing so-called “AI” is actually best at is parting fools from their money:

…tech companies have proved yet again that there’s money to be made from panic.  Turnitin, a longtime leader in the plagiarism-detection market, released a new tool within six months of ChatGPT’s debut to identify [LLM]-generated writing in students’ assignments.  In 2025 alone…the California State University system collectively paid an extra $163,000 for it, pushing total spending this year to over $1.1 million.  Most of these campuses have licensed Turnitin’s plagiarism detector since 2014…when the internet made it easy for students to copy and paste [text] from websites into their assignments…faculty members [are now seeking] both a way to discourage students from using ChatGPT on their homework and a way to identify [LLM]-generated writing…But the technology…highlights any matching text, whether properly cited or not; it flags everything that mirrors [LLM] writing style, whether a student used [an LLM] inappropriately or not.  And Turnitin…demand[s] “perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable and sublicensable” rights to student writing…[which it] has used…to build a massive database of student papers, which it [then] uses to [train its own LLM]…

No parody of puritanism could be as absurd as the current reality in Florida:

In a chilling meeting of the Florida State Board of Education…a school district superintendent was publicly browbeaten and repeatedly threatened with criminal prosecution [because]…he…had not unilaterally and permanently removed a list of 55 books from school libraries…[using the ludicrous excuse of] “parents’ rights” [despite the fact that] no Hillsborough County parent had objected to the books at issue.  Rather, the State Board had summarily declared that the…books were “pornography”, even though none of the books met the legal definition of pornographic material…[and] many…are award-winning literature that have been read by students for years…Board [members were angry]…that…[Superintendent Van] Ayres i[mplied that]…librarians…[knew their jobs better than politicians.  The gang of psychopaths responded by vomiting abuse at Ayres, calling him and the librarians “]illiterate[“]…”child abusers”…and…”garbage”…and [demanded all the] librarians…be “terminated immediately”…[also threatening them with] criminal prosecution…

Though Hillsborough County educational officials oppose tyranny, unfortunately the same cannot be said for its sheriff and cops.

Out of Control (#1374)

What is wrong with doctors who do this?

…A…Missoula [Montana] emergency room doctor [named Tyler James Hurst], who is charged with a slew of sex crimes, [appeared] in court via Zoom from a [“]sex addiction[” blame-avoiding] facility in Mississippi…[because] seven victims [so far] have [reported]…that…Hurst…[molested] them…and in some cases g[ave them] opiates and [raped] them…the state asked that he be [extradited] from Mississippi and [jailed] in…[Montana] on a $750,000 bond…victims are still coming forward and more charges are still in the process of being filed…Hurst is planning to return to Montana, to be [confined to] another [“]sex addiction[” blame-avoiding] ranch in Corvallis….[with] a GPS monitor…if he is removed from the program, he is to [be] immediately [jailed]…

Torture Chamber (#1390)

“Failed to protect them from sexual abuse” is such a sterile way to say “repeatedly raped them”:

The U.S. Department of Justice found unconstitutional conditions at all five of Texas’ juvenile detention facilities, where [young adults] were exposed to excessive force, sexual abuse and in the case of disabled [minors, maltreatment] that [was used as an excuse by screws to keep] them [locked] in c[ages] longer or [to send] them to adult prisons…[screws] excessively used pepper spray on [young people], employed dangerous restraint techniques…kept [them] isolated for days or weeks on end…[and facilitated] a “pervasive atmosphere of sexual abuse, grooming and [rape by] staff”…

Reporters: get it through your thick skulls that infantilizing young victims of governmental brutality as “children” does not help them, and in fact further cultivates a climate in which they are treated as less than adult citizens.

Cops should not be allowed anywhere near legal minors:

A [typical and representative Pennsylvania] police chief [named]…John Berger…[has been] arrested…[for] sexual assault…[Berger] was fired from [his boss pig job] last May following a raid by federal agents…he [began working] at DreamLife Recovery…in January as a Behavioral Health Technician following a stint at the drug and alcohol rehab center as a patient and his firing as the Ligonier Valley Police Chief…he… “would make unwanted sexual advances towards [one of the patients] almost daily”…and…on [April 29th]…went into [her] room while she was sleeping…and “forcefully started to kiss her”…then groped her and…oral[ly raped her]…Berger [has confessed] to the charges…

No Escape (#683)

Your “leaders” refer to this as “correction”:

An Indiana man is suing [because] he was [repeatedly] sexually assaulted by a [screw named]…Jason Bertram…[while] the man was [on probation]…Bertram…indicated to him that he would keep him out of jail if (he) would s[ubmit to]…Bertram[‘s]…sexual a[dvances]…Bertram [also] gave him methamphetamine, which…he had not used in the past…[when he] was later [back in jail] Bertram [repeatedly] put [him] in areas with…surveillance…blind spots to obtain access to (him)…He was eventually released from jail, but later arrested again on charges related to his meth addiction, which…started after Bertram provided him with drugs.  The man went on to report the abuse to multiple [big pigs and screw bureaucrats]…but…they…willfully…[refus]ed to stop Bertram from abusing (the man) and other incarcerated people…On Jan. 11, 2023, Bertram was [finally] criminally charged…[for] abus[ing]…the man…[and] three other[s]…Six days later…[he committed] suicide…

It couldn’t have happened to a nicer guy:

A [typical and representative] NYPD [cop]…who w[as also a fine example of McNeill’s Law] has been ordered [to] pay $30 million for [repeatedly rap]ing two of his nieces when they were young girls.  Nicholas Mcateer…was sentenced in 2018 to 18 years in prison …The victims…[came] forward [when] they were adults and filed a lawsuit for emotional distress in 2020…

A [typical and representative Oregon cop] has been sentenced to 12 and a half years in prison for molesting two children in Salem.  Cenobio Jauregui…sexually abused two children under 14 years old…on several occasions between 2019 and 2023…Jauregui still has a pending criminal case for a misdemeanor charge…[for repeatedly pester]ing a woman [locked in a cage]…he [sexually harassed her, repeatedly] knocked on her window [to prevent her from sleeping,] and watched her…

Hey, female cops; how’s that collaboration with the police state working out?

A [typical and representative] Hamilton [Ontario cop] will not go to jail [despite repeatedly] sexually assaulting the woman he was mentoring as she pursued her own career in policing.  Michael LaCombe…will instead s[kate with a mere] 12 months of house arrest followed by 12 months of probation after Justice Cameron Watson [coddled] him…[by patting his little piggy bottom and assuring him that] he wouldn’t spend any time in jail at a sentencing hearing last month — before…he [even] hear[d]…the arguments of both sides…LaCombe was the victim’s instructor when she was a teenager in the Air Cadets, and then when she was an adult, her mentor…

Give sexually-aggressive thugs power over kids; what could possibly go wrong?

A [cop] assigned to [spy on, harass, and intimidate students at a Pennsylvania] middle school…is being charged with sexual assault…and related crimes…Costas Alestas…was [rewarded with a paid vacation for molesting and raping at least one student]…of…grade…sixth through eighth…on April 24 an[other cop paid to spy on, harass, and intimidate students in the same county, named] John “J.T.” Smoke…[was arrested] for…having sent a [dick pic] to an underage student…

No Escape (ROTW #10)

This will continue as long as sexually-aggressive men are given power over young women:

…sexual abuse at Illinois juvenile [cage stacks] was pervasive and systemic for decades, according to…a lawsuit filed…by 95 men and women [locked up in] the [prison]s as [minors]…from 1996 to 2017…[the abuse included] gang rape…oral [rape], beatings and groping of [young prisoners] by [screw]s…nurses, [“]therapists[“], a chaplain and others at nine [cage stacks]…[victims] were threatened or rewarded to keep quiet…The lawsuit…follows similar [wholly predictable reports] of…sex abuse at juvenile [cage stack]s in Maryland, New Jersey, New Hampshire, California and New York City…

Once again: it does not help young victims of state violence to infantilize them as “children”.
