It was very heavy handed — and it was meant to send a message. – Michael Eymer

• Yes, that cover is truly weird. In some way it reminds me of the antics of my local horror movie host when I was growing up. He liked to overdub Godzilla movies so that when the monster roared, what one heard was a frog going “ribbip”.
• Vibrating underwear sound like something from a pervy Japanese manga. OTOH, I would need SOMETHING distracting and amusing if I was going to watch soccer. I find almost all sports spectating tiresome, and run-around-two-goal games like soccer or hockey or basketball are worst (to me).
• The Media and the Political Left have been caught in so many lies concerning the ‘immigration crisis’ that I now almost reflexively assume that any starry that is critical of supposed Trump policy is a) blaming Trump for Obama policy b) blaming Trump for legislation that has been in place for years or c) just utter bullish*t generally. This sin’t good. I’m sure there are going to be actual problems with Trump policy and it would be nice to find out about them, but the noise-to-signal ratio from the Trump-deranged is too high.
• OK, I’m a grouch. I think the ‘perfect metaphor’ for US racism is the Brown-Shirts dress alike and march armed through the streets to intimidate people with whom we disagree group….calling themselves Anti-Facist
> Shiloh already had a reputation for mistreating children. In December 2014, Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee, D-Houston, called for Shiloh to be shut down, citing reports from the Houston Chronicle of “physical violence, unreasonable and excessive use of physical restraints, administering emergency medications without notice to governmental authorities, and several deaths of minor children while in custody,” she said in a statement.
‘Shiloh’ is a biblical name. I bet these people are fucking institutional christians. I’d place a large amount of money on it. A long, long history of child abuse (not necessarily sexual), killing brown people, and a fascination with control and labelling things they don’t like about other people as ‘sin’. Oh yeah, and killing.
