I once believed that what the US did after the Revolutionary War was just, and even supported the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. Upon seeing how bad war affects not only the loser, but also the “winner” however; I came to realize that it wasn’t worth it and no amount of “fighting harder” would change things. (This isn’t going into how much the Roosevelts, Wilson, Truman, the Kennedys, Nixon, Landrieus, Bushes, Biden, and countless other “proven leaders” were little more than open warmongers.)
