Since the annex project is all done except for a few tweaks and clean-up details that don’t really make good pictures, it’s almost time to retire this feature (except for occasional reappearances when I make some noteworthy change of addition). So I decided to do a short video tour of the atrium area, starting at the back door of the main house; this should give you an idea of how it all fits together.

Boring but necessary legal stuff
Wow! Apparently I missed a few steps since I last checked your progress. Very nice work. I really like wall treatment with the diagonal wood planking.
Is that a Schwinn elliptical machine? We have a Schwinn. So far it’s outlived our old Nordic Track by a factor of five or so.
I bet you’re glad it’s finished. That kind of project takes a hell of a commitment. I have a tendency to reach burnout before long term goals are completed, but when we renovated and had an addition put on, it turned out to be the smartest decision we ever made. The enjoyment we get from it never gets old.
Anyway, congratulations on a huge accomplishment!
